Krka National Park
The main attraction of the national park is its seven waterfalls. The largest and most beautiful are Skradinski buk and Roški slap. Along the Krka River and its lakes, you'll find many old fortress ruins, mills, and several monasteries. The Franciscan monastery on the island of Visovac is particularly noteworthy. Krka National Park was established in 1955. As early as 1948, the park area was classified as a rare natural asset and a site of significant importance. Between 1985 and 1997, the national park's area was expanded to a total of 109 km².
Turanj
The charming town center of Turanj is 2 km away and easily accessible on foot via the beach promenade. Ample free parking is also available. The beach itself is beautiful, with a gently sloping shoreline ideal for families, and the pine trees provide plenty of shade. Enjoy the sunset with a leisurely dinner or at one of the small beach cafes.
Turanj is a district of the municipality of Sveti Filip i Jakov, with just over 1200 inhabitants. It is located on the Pašman Canal. The nearest larger towns are Zadar and Biograd na Moru. Settlement in the area dates back to antiquity, as evidenced by Roman grave goods. The parish church is first mentioned in the 15th century. Inside the church, an old Croatian tomb inscription in Glagolitic script from the 15th century has been preserved.

Biograd na Moru
Biograd na Moru is a picturesque and historically significant town with a privileged location on Croatia's Adriatic coast. While not as large as other coastal towns and marinas like Split, Šibenik, or Zadar, Biograd na Moru is well worth a visit. Numerous restaurants, cafes, and shops await you. The annual boat show takes place in October. The heart of the old settlement lies on a small peninsula. The town walls with their round towers remained intact until the end of the 19th century.
